UREA & Fertilizers

Pupuk produces 2 (two) types of Urea fertilizers, which are:

  1. Prilled Urea
  2. Granulated Urea
The technical specifications of these two types of Urea fertilizer differ in terms of grain size, and Granulated Urea fertilizer is the larger of the two and contains more anti-cacking. Pictures of a sample was uploaded to this cloud folder here.

Urea fertilizer, namely as Nitrogen (N) fertilizer. It contains 46 % nitrogen. Urea is produced by converting ammonia and carbon dioxide under chemical process to become solid urea in the form of prill (size 1-3,35 mm) or granular (size 2-4,75 mm), both are produced by Pupuk . Prill urea is mostly used for food agriculture and industry, and granular urea is more suitable for plantation. Pupuk is marketing and selling urea mainly in Indonesia. In trading of the urea, Pupuk complies to Indonesia National Standard for Fertilizers SNI 02-2801-1998 (HS: 3102.10.00.00) mandatorily.

Benefits to crops of Nitrogen Nutritious Substances:

  1. A key element in the formation of chlorophyll - an essential component for the photosynthesis process, stimulating greener leaves.
  2. Accelerated vegetative growth (forming plantlet, plant height, leaf width) panicle length, and increased plant yield.
  3. Increased protein content.
  4. An important component for amino acids, nucleate acid and chlorophyll.
